Envisioning an Event..... Lyndsay & Jay

I'm excited to begin a new blog series call... "Envisioning an Event..."

My role as a planner begins with a bride's vision and then, my goal is to bring that vision to life!

I work with my bride to conceptualize an Inspiration Board. It is comprised from colors, concepts, elements, textures, and emotions, that depicts the overall mood the bride wishes to express. Then, in turn, I am able to share the vision for the wedding with the other members of the wedding team, including the florist, caterer, cake designer, lighting designer, and others. This helps everyone to very quickly get up to speed with the planning that has taken place. It is an invaluable tool and I am so excited to be able to share inspiration boards I have created for clients along with photos of their actual weddings that followed.

Beginning with a wedding I planned last summer for Lyndsay and Jay. Together with Lyndsay and her mom, we created an inspiration board that we were able to translate into a magical evening, transforming the venue into a glittering secret garden...
